The AWA Travel Team will compete in various national lacrosse tournaments. Players are invited to play for the AWA Travel Team based on assessments and their desire to play at the collegiate level. The AWA Travel Team will compete in various national lacrosse tournaments. Players are invited to play for the AWA Travel Team based on assessments and their desire to play at the collegiate level. Many of our high school players have received scholarships to play at the collegiate level. 12 out of 13 players of the graduating class of 2024 received offers and committed to play at the collegiate level. The commits from 2024 will be playing NAIA, NCAA Division 2 and NCAA Division 1 lacrosse.

The AWA Local Team will be coached by Coach Julia Thompson. AWA Local will compete in 3 tournaments throughout June and possibly the beginning of July. The only assessments will be in the event we have multiple players competing for a single position.

The AWA Middle School Team will be coached by Coach Brooke Dawdy (Reinhardt University) and Coach Jaidyn Cochran (Young Harris College). AWA Middle School will compete in 3 local tournaments throughout June and possibly the beginning of July. There will also be other positional coaches assigned to the middle school team from Young Harris
